Get specialist tuition from professional artists Mel and Aliss in an adult only environment. It will be a small group, so you'll get plenty of attention!

Skills required:
Just some enthusiasm and patience!
Beginners as well as creative makers welcome

This enjoyable making workshop is for those who want to learn how to create a lantern thats just a bit more special. You can then use it in your home or garden, with fairy lights or a torch.

You will be creating very beautiful owls, mushroom and toadstool lanterns!
We'll be using Somerset grown withies, specialist lantern paper and glue.

Aliss and Mel have many years of experience, teaching lantern making and organising processions. They will be sharing their knowledge and helping with your queries in a friendly and supportive environment.

Please bring:
  • Packed lunch
  • Secateurs if you have them
  • Payment for materials
  • Apron or wear old clothing - it may get messy with glue!
