Singer themed lanterns

The 2019 Lantern parade was inspired by the the statues cast in Frome by J W Singer as part of the bicentenary birthday celebration project 'Casting The World’.
Mel Day and Aliss Vaas worked with Oakfield and Selwood Academy to create wonderful angel lanterns. Star of the parade, 3 metre high Boudica on her chariot plus horses, was made with Johnson Controls and won two prizes in the Frome Carnival.
