Lantern workshops - FAQ and polite requests:

• Pre-bookings only please to attend
• One ticket admits 1 person to the workshop - eg 1 adult and 1 child will require 2 tickets and make 1 lantern  // a family of 2 adults and 2 children will require 4 tickets and can make 1-2 lanterns depending on the age / ability of the children
• Supervised children welcome! An adult is required to work together with a young person to make their lantern, see poster for what we'll make.
• Please arrive at the start time as we will be doing demos (no earlier than  5  mins before)
• The workshop time slot must be adhered to please, as we will need to start clearing up and preparing resources for the next session
• Workshop is free to attend - there is a small cost for materials, payment will be taken during the workshop (from £2 for a pyramid, to approx £15 for a large lantern)
  

what we'll make at each workshop

What to bring:

If you come to a workshop, you will need to take your lantern home with you - it may still be wet with glue! -  please bring:

• Large plastic bin bag or similar to carry it if its raining
  
• Fairy lights or torch if you have them (its easier to attach them inside before papering)
  
• Long pole or bamboo to hold lantern with
  
• Wear old clothing as it will get messy!
