Lantern Making workshops
FAQ and polite requests:
Tickets must be booked in advance - no drop-ins
Please book 1 ticket for each person attending (eg 2 children + 1 adult = 3 tickets)

Please book 1 ticket for each person attending (eg 2 children + 1 adult = 3 tickets)
- Max 3 tickets and one workshop per group/family due to very limited capacity
- Please arrive promptly as we will be doing demos at the start of the session (arrive approx 5-10 mins before to check in)
- Workshop is free to attend + small cost for materials, available at the venue - please bring payment to the workshop
- Each session is themed, you’ll make a specific lantern in the workshop - see event booking for details
- Age recommendation - Some workshops are suitable for age 5+ and their adult and some we suggest age 8+ and their adult, please read the workshop details
- Frome + villages residents only please thanks to funding from Frome Town Council
What to bring:
- Fairy lights, small light or torch if you have one (its easier to attach inside when making your lantern)
- Secateurs (if you prefer to use your own)
- Long pole or bamboo to attach inside your lantern
- Large plastic bin bag or similar to carry your lantern home - it may still be wet with glue
- An apron may be useful for glueing!
- Payment for materials
Please do not attend the session if you or anyone in your group feel unwell
