LANTERN PARADE AND CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON
Friday 27 November 2026
Lantern Parade leaders and workshop facilitators are professional artists Mel Day and Aliss Vaas - together have decades of experience in Community Arts Projects.
We've been running the Lanterns element of the Frome Christmas Lights Switch On for 10 years!
This event is organised and funded by Frome Town Council. We facilitate friendly and fun Lantern Making Workshops for individuals, families, schools and community groups to participate in making incredible lanterns for processions!
We're also available throughout the year, for private commissions and events.
